Merry Christmas Everyone

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a terrific New Year!! Karrie and Brayden are on their cruise and between Brian and Wendy and Dad and I we are watching the King grandkids (mostly Brian and Wendy) since Dad and I are still working. They will be back on Friday and then spend Christmas and afew days after with us. It's fun to have family and little ones at Christmas-- just adds to the excitment of Santa. We're going to Grandma Hurn's for Christmas Eve and evently one of Karrie and Brayden's traditions is a talent show so Dad and I are in trouble. I will try to figure out how to post pictures of Christmas and I'd like some posting from all of you of Christmas pictures.

Have a wonderful Holiday and for those of you in Virginia, Utah and Alaska, especially Alaska, stay warm.

Love, Mom

I think I figured this blogging out!

I am loving reading your additions to our blog. Thank you all for your Halloween pictures. I now have everyone. Hope you are all well. We really enjoyed having Kevin, Amanda, Ian and Meggie here during Thanksgiving and we're looking forward to having Karrie, Brayden, Parker, Bailey and Holden during Christmas. The only thing that would be better is if everyone could be here. We know that it will get harder and harder to have that happen, but we're still hoping for something next year. Post those holiday pictures.

Love you all, Mom

Alaskan Man

We finally got snow. It was later than usually, but I wasn't complaining. I love to kick that can out as far as possible. After awhile we get really tired of shoveling, but this is what a true Alaskan Man looks like when he takes care of his family and keeps them safe from the ice. :o) Jason gets quite a kick out of it though, however, he's already been looking at snow blowers. Boy does he have high hopes.

We're Back

We had a quick trip to Utah last weekend. Dad got his new car and is so-o-o-o happy! Now he's trying to sell the old one.

We saw Grandpa and Grandma Smith and they are doing better. Grandma is sleeping three nights at Burl's and Grandpa is starting to realize that he will need to do his physical therapy if he wants to remain at home.

Grandma Hurn bought a new tractor and is doing well. She is slowing down abit but still mows the lawn with her new tractor.

Love you all, Mom

Ha, Ha, to all my brothers and sister-in-laws. I'm the first comment. Therefore the most loved!!! Anyway, I'm so glad this is happening since we smith kids aren't the best at calling eachother. That's what you get when you have 4 brother and only 1 talkative girl. I think the first think should be halloween pictures should be posted. I know mom asked to email them to her but I want to see my family. Do any of you have terrible 2's advise? Holden is a monster!!! He is always yelling (granted Bailey is his sister). He also decides every once in a while that he needs to grab my face with both hands and sqweeze my cheeks as hard as he can, which is pretty hard for a two year old. He's left marks!!! I love you all!!! Karrie
